Terms of Service for Kame Lens

Welcome to Kame Lens! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kame Lens mobile application ("App") and any related services. Please read these Terms carefully before using the App.

By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, then you may not access the App.

1. Use of the App

A. License

Kame Lens grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App for personal or business purposes in accordance with these Terms.

B. User Content

You retain all rights to any documents, images, or files you scan, process, or upload using the App ("User Content"). By utilizing our Cloud Sync feature, you grant us a temporary license to store, process, and transmit your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

C. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the App to:

  • Scan, store, or distribute illegal, infringing, or malicious content.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the security, integrity, or performance of the App.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App.

2. Accounts and Subscriptions

  • Accounts: Certain features require you to create an account. You must provide accurate and complete information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activities under your account.
  • Subscriptions: Premium features (such as Ad-removal, unlimited cloud storage, or advanced filters) may be offered on a subscription basis. Subscription fees, billing cycles, and cancellation terms will be presented to you at the time of purchase.

3. Advertisements

The free version of the App may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or goods/services offered by third-party advertisers.

4. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App (excluding User Content), including its design, logos, software, and features, are owned by Kame Lens or its licensors.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kame Lens and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or use, arising from:

  • Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the App.
  • Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or content.
  • Any bugs, viruses, or interruptions in the service.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
